This is week one of my home learning maths pack. This week we focus on telling the time. The lessons are sequenced to build up telling the time to the nearest 5 minutes (greater depth) and problem solving.

This weeks home learning focuses mainly on scales - temperature and capacity. Simply tasks for them to complete at home and direct to a video to support learning. There are a mixed of problem solving and reasoning questions for the children to also access. Friday - focus on counting in steps of - giving ideas of how to practically do this at home.

This is an ideal pack for supporting children with home learning. It covers a range of different foundation subjects and is suitable for a year two child. This pack suggests work for: Religious Education, Science, Global Learning (History and Geography), Music and Art.

This weeks home learning focuses place value and addition skills. There are only 4 days work as this was for a bank holiday week. There are YouTube links to support teaching at home which are methods encouraged in Year 2!

Interesting Adjective Synonym Cards The ‘boring’ adjective is at the top of the card with more interesting synonyms in colourful colours down the card. This encourages children to use a wider variety of vocabulary in their writing. Mainly aimed at Year 2 and lower KS2.
