Hi, I began teaching as an unqualified teacher in 2015 after working for one year in the SEN department at Westfield Academy as an LSA. Since then, I have climbed the ladder, completing my teacher training through the Assessment Only Route leading to QTS in July 2019. I completed by NQT period in one term before taking on the role of Head of Year 13, alongside teaching History. In September 2020, I took on the role of Politics teacher as the school reintroduced the subject after a period of 10 years. I have been responsible for creating this department subsequently. In September 2021, I took on the responsibility of both Year 12 and 13 within the sixth form. I have great experience in SEN, teaching from Year 7-13 and in pastoral roles. I have worked well within the History team but also lead the new Government & Politics A-Level as well as managed form tutors and administrators in my role as Head of Sixth Form.
