This is a twelve week planning scheme built around the novel Brightstorm, written by the incredible Author, Vashti Hardy. Covering a considerable amount of the curriculum (particularly Geography and Science) in UKS2, the plans are designed to work in sync with the novel.
Resources are named on the planning as they can be found in the folders. However, due to copywrite some (mostly slides) may be missing where I have used someone elses ideas.
A huge thanks and credit must go to @Teacherglitter Ceri Eccles for the initial inspiration and her ideas for the immersion days. Check out her incredible stuff over at https://teacherglitter.wordpress.com/ - she is inspirational!!!
Two separate assessment trackers for the Year 6 Autumn term Small steps from White Rose Maths (version 3).
The student assessment tracker can be stuck in to books at the start of a new unit, and allows the children to self assess how they have found each small step.
The A3 teacher assessment tracker allows for a whole class overview of each small step, whether from classroom observation or book looks.
