The activities in this lesson will allow your beginner French students to learn vocabulary related to places in their city or town. They will also learn about prepositions and basic time-of-day expressions. Examples, a vocabulary sheet (Canva vocabulary presentation link pictures and words of the places provided), along with answer keys for each of the activities. The activities in this lesson are aimed towards beginner and lower-ability French students.

This activity is a great way to introduce a bit of French culture into your French classroom for your beginner students. They will be able to “visit” Paris, France with a young girl named Betty as shown in the video and then answer three short answer questions related to the video. Sentence starters are provided, but can be removed from the Word document if your students are more advanced. The YouTube link to the video is provided on the document.

This poster can be used as a visual display in your Spanish language classroom to help your students remember common regular AR verbs in Spanish. While the infinitive forms of the verbs are provided, you can challenge more advanced students to conjugate them according to the correct verb forms for different subjects (ex. talking about actions they or others do). Activity extension: Your students can write a short paragraph on a specific topic using different subjects and conjugating the verbs according to a specific tense (ex. present tense, near future, etc.)
