Designed with Year one objectives, I use it for easier planning and less paper. I find it ideal for doing about 2 sessions on one book where I can identify different objectives for each session and see the notes from previous when we return to the material.
I created a handout for parents with ideas or activities and websites children could benefit from in the run up to the phonics screening check in June. It may just save you the time with writing one.

Using the NC objectives, I have mapped out the different strands across the year groups with examples. Originally made to support staff changing year groups and to understand the prior knowledge being built upon year on year.
