I have worked in education since graduating from University in 2010. Following my graduation from the University of Sunderland with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sport and Exercise Science, I quickly gained employment in a Hebburn Comprehensive School working as a Cover Supervisor attached to the PE department. In the summer of 2012, I gained employment at Academy 360 in Pennywell, Sunderland, working again, initially as a Cover Supervisor attached to the PE department, then moving to work as an unqualified PE/Maths/ICT teacher. I completed a PGCE through Teeside University, followed by gaining QTLS. I worked there between 2012 and 2018 before moving into FE working at Newcastle College. During my time at NCL, I taught Level Three and Level Two Health & Social Care; being Course Lead on the latter. As of October 2022, I gained employment with Middlesbrough College, working as a Lecturer of Health and Care, where I am now Course Lead on the Level Two Extended Diploma in HSC.
