Selection of report writing statements

This pack includes Movies Picture Round with 12 questions Questions 1-4: Name the actor pictured on the Hollywood walk of fame Questions 5-8: Name the film from the costume Questions 9-12: Name the film from the cryptic clue 33 carefully researched movie themed questions (including picture round it is a 45 question quiz.) Blank 45 question template to print out and write on (if required.) The questions selection is done for you, because each quiz starts easy and gets more difficult towards the end, pitched at the average quizzer, retaining an element of fun. More questions within this quiz are multiple choice for this reason, but to add a further level of difficulty the multiple choice element can merely be excluded whilst questioning. Perfect for a standard, or online quiz for adults. Questions 13 - 20: Easier questions designed to give your teams some confidence and even raise some laughs. Questions 21 - 30: Medium difficulty questions Questions 31-35: Name the film from the named ‘movie twist.’ Questions 36 - 40: Harder questions which teams will find much more challenging. Questions 41 - 45: ‘The Wipeout Round’ or ‘Double or Quits’.  It is suggested that in this section, you inform teams that each question is worth 2 points, however if one question is answered incorrectly the team ‘wipes-out’ and scores no points for the round, questions can however be missed out with no penalty (just receiving no points for that particular question.) One example of a question in this resource is… In the film ‘Cool Runnings’ in what country do they compete as a bob-sleigh team in the 1988 Olympics: Canada, Norway or France? This resource was added to the site on February 8th, 2021 All quizzes have been tried and tested in real life quizzes beforehand.

I have bullet pointed a few ideas I had to use iMovie in the classroom. Although these were written with a mac in use, many of the ideas could be used with iMovie on the iPad or a similar video editing program. Please leave a comment if you find this useful.

A massive bank of resources based around Nelson Mandela and Black History. Features an incredibly effective lesson leading onto an assembly to show how soul destroying racism really can be with links to Nelson Mandela. Is VERY powerful if done properly. Right to education, poverty, quotes and web-links also included. I have also included lots of additional resources on Nelson Mandela and a Teachers TV video and the video file and notebook file I used to try and illustrate drawing portraits. Powerpoints, worksheets, videos, plans etc. enjoy!

An assembly I made to introduce our 'E-Safety' week. I have also included an E-Safety agreement I made that can be used to hand out to parents. Also an example of year 3 planning for this week. I have also included a number of materials and worksheets that could be used effectively for E-Safety.

PART ONE of TWO As this is the first time I have shared content in this format (of which I prefer) I am offering a 75% price reduction for a very limited time! Please note this is 15 YEARS worth of Keynotes made on the mac originally for years 3 and 4 although many have been used in older classes and are easily adaptable. INVALUABLE for anyone with a Mac that uses it for teaching as these are VERY hard to find. (Why I had to make them as I much prefer Keynote.) These took many many hours to make individually. Many incorporate videos and animations within them and some have been used to achieve outstanding observations. For a MacBook / Apple user these are fantastic and many should work on iPad too with Keynote. (Although one or two of the animations may be different and I can't 100% promise all will be formatted perfectly from experience.) Keynotes ages 7-10 - A Massive collection of presentations I have made. Most are self explanatory but have written a few notes of description for some them below to help. Will save Apple users absolutely tonnes of time as I myself use many of these when I go into schools. You really are getting a lot here believe me. A unique ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ based around ‘Bonfire Night’ in the UK. This can be adapted for ANY topic, includes visuals and sound effects from the programme. I used successfully in a whole class assembly, the staff loved it too! Suitable for Primary.

Christmas Quiz 2016

Each quiz has 5 sets of 5 questions for participants to answer. Also useful for teachers to use in form time for a point of discussion for older pupils. I am offering 4 for £1 here, professionally written and formatted, although most questions are suitable for children you may want to vett the odd question or answer for your particular pupils We asked 100 people in the UK to name something in 5 different categories. For each of these categories, can you give the 5 most popular answers they came up with? A point for each correct answer. WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE ASSEMBLY ADDITION! A collection of unique resources about bonfire night. Includes… -Uniquely designed ‘Gunpowder Plot Story.’ -Uniquely designed by myself ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ that can be used for many other topics easily, all sounds effects etc included! -Uniquely designed article about how last year letters were discovered worth 60,000 -Powerpoint including fire safety points and fire safety advert. Also with a brief History of Bonfire night, all designed in the same sheet as the worksheets. Great as an assembly or for use in class. - Guy Fawkes poem -Task to alphabetically order key words -Highly detailed ‘fact file’ (4 page document) in which children are required to make their own simplified ‘profiles’ on the main conspirators of the Gunpowder Plot. In its current form a great activity for year 5/6 although very easily adapted for years 3/4. (Worksheet included.) -Simple Storyboard for younger / SEN children and a more complex one with space for more writing for older children. -The history of fireworks Powerpoint presentation -To try and help I have downloaded TWO videos from youtube, please note I do not claim to own these clips, just thought they may be useful if you were doing the topic.
