Originally designed to accompany BTEC qualification. Could easily be used for AEN students to guide them through basic atomic structure theory and electron configuration.

Made this to accompany the fusion 2 scheme of work. It relates to the first 6 lessons. From describing, elements, compounds, naming compounds and symbols. Used this with a lower ability science group in year 8. Could easily be adapted for years 7 and 9 also.

each pupil was given an element from 1-20. They had to work out the electron structure of that particular element and make a poster using the templates provided. Part of the activity is the pupils choosing which template to use, depending on the number of electron shells their element has. Perfect for lower ability groups.
