Out of the Ashes by Michael Morpurgo Reading Journal

(0)
This journal has 24 questions that focus on using inference and deduction rather than basic recall. If you double side the four pages, it will fold to create an A5 booklet in the right order. I avoided asking questions after the point in the story when the family have discovered that the disease is on their farm. The idea is that the children read the last few chapters uninterrupted and then explain briefly on the final page how the story ended.
