This resource begins with encouraging learners to create questions about Victorian schools which can become their subheadings. It then demonstrates how to take notes and then transfer these into paragraphs.
It also then models the text on lined paper so it mirrors their jotter. It demonstrates the structures and features of an information text that they can include in theirs.

Alphabet Exercises
This is a great resource to get learner’s moving. This can be used during PE or as a home learning resource. Pupil’s must spell out their names and complete the exercise for each letter. This can be made more challenging by asking them to spell out first and second name or by spelling out a friend’s name if they finish quickly.
