An activity aimed at BTEC NQF Applied Science students for Unit 8 (Physiology of Human Body Systems). Includes editable factsheets on the five functions required to be covered by learners for their assignment. I use these as stations which learners visit to fill out their worksheet which is also attached.

An introduction into the Unit where learners have a chance to define key terms, look at the strengths and weaknesses of methods of communicating scientific information and different target audiences (scientific community, general public pressure groups and political representatives). This lesson begins with section C of the unit, as I think article analysis will be easier if students have knowledge on science reporting first.

This student-led lesson focuses on the structure and properties of water for A-level Biology. It includes a station activity where students fill out a table on properties of water, and exam questions with mark schemes to check knowledge.
