Substitution Race Track

(0)
Similar to the 10 Ticks Race Track only the students substitute their score on the dice into an empty box and the expressions are more simple (suitable for Level 3 and 4).

Product and Sum of Integers 2

Product and Sum worksheets are easily accessible, engaging, help improve problem solving skills and build resilience. In the Red section, students are given two whole numbers and have to add them to fill in the top answer and multiply them to fill in the bottom answer. In the Amber section, students are given just one middle number and either their sum or product meaning they will have to subtract or divide to find the missing number from the middle. In the Green section, students are given just the sum and the product and have to determine what the two numbers from the middle are. This is a nice way to lead onto factorising quadratics.

This resource contains 1x codebreaker worksheet where students have to find the area of trapeziums. Suitable for KS3 and Foundation revision. *the joke is terrible

How to make the Platonic Solids with Straws

(1)
How to make the Platonic Solids with Straws is a perfect end of term activity. Print the ‘Brackets’ onto card. Teachers will need to supply straws (any narrow straws will do). The instructions Powerpoint shows students how to attach the straws to the brackets. If the brackets are cut out well, they will fit snugly into straws and hold their shape with no need for sellotape.
