Hi, I'm Ellie and I am a secondary Music teacher based in Dubai. I trained in the UK in 2019 in the British Curriculum and moved to an IB school in Dubai in January 2022. This lesson is the first in a sequence of six where students learn about Rhythm and Pulse. In this lesson, students will learn the definition of the words rhythm and pulse and try to clap a basic rhythm using dots in boxes. This bundle focuses on the different careers in the music industry. Each week, students will look at a different career and analyse it. Students may never have heard of some of these careers before and it will be an eye opening experience for them. In Week 7, students will create an overview of each of the careers they have looked at and decide which they would be most suited to. The slides are engaging and informative while also being functional. As a remote learning bundle, all of the lessons can be completed by students at home and does not need any teacher guidance. Each task is outlined for students by a specific icon.
