6 week SOW on Shakespeare in Drama. Looking along the lines of Comedy, Tragedy and History with elements of 6 different Shakespeare texts included. This is intended to work cross-curricularly with English and Science to support learning in all areas. Powerpoint and student workbook included.

With the changing GCSE specifications it is time to update our KS3 to reflect this. This resource is numbered across the top to show the intended KS4 grade they would achieve. There is also a DTT sheet attached which links to the flightpath for easy assessment and continued progression.

Whole 6 week SOW including Powerpoints, peer and teacher assessment sheets, and resources. KS3.

This is a resource sheet which contains a series of different tasks, from extended writing to design and research tasks. We use this as a cover work at present, When a teacher is off, the class find the sheet and start on a different task. It could be used for homework as an extended project or an extension task to stretch and challenge the more able.

Some assessment sheets for use with C1 mock assessments and tracking. Include Strengths and weaknesses directly from spec and using assessment terminology. Grades can be inputted at the end and tracked with a build up of sheets. Marking criteria is also on the sheets for staff and student reference.

The introductory lessons for the Cambridge Technical Level 3 in Performing Arts, Unit 2c. It covers key content and information gathered over the last 2 years of delivery.

SOW on Superheroes for Year 7 or could be adapted for year 6 or 8. Each lesson focuses on a key dramatic skill and is a nice introduction for both boys and girls.

EDUQAS component 3 DNA focused resource looking from a design perspective. Aims to develop understanding of design elements and includes questions and mark scheme from past papers

These Drama knowledge organisers cover 6 half terms and focus on different topics such as - Superheroes / Roald Dahl / Script writing / Performing scripts / A basic intro to Stanislavski / Analysing performance work. It also includes a range of ‘Extended Learning’ tasks which are focused on the Bronze level Arts Award and / or support the learning for the half term.

A series of lessons based on each individual character in DNA. Each one has either practical or written tasks which link to skills needed to complete Component 3

These knowledge organisers cover the core skills and content for the BTEC Tech Performing Arts course. They look at creating C1 and C2 coursework and preparing for the C3 external assessment. The homework planners are on the otherside of the organisers so that students can use these to work independantly.

KS3 knowledge organisers which are designed to cover a year of learning and look at topics such as - Physical Theatre / Pantomime / Script writing / Rehearsal techniques and Live theatre reviews. All of the extension work is based on Arts Award Bronze level tasks and / or the topic.

These knowledge organisers and homework planners cover the 3 components and wider learning for successful completion of the GCSE Drama 1-9 Eduqas in two years. A great basis for planning and structuring work if nothing else.

This is a 6 lesson KS3 Home Learning pack that looks at layout, character profiles, including given circumstances and writing longer scripts. This could be made longer or shorter depending on your lesson timings and student needs.
