I have used this sheet only with a practice ISA to help students to learn how to research their topic. It can be edited for whichever hypothesis you want and we got the students to use this in the computer room to research their ISA planning sheet. They then use the full information to write their ISA notes sheet. This also means that they can keep this sheet for revision to revise from before their tests and to help them to remember what their notes sheet means. For the real thing, they will create their own.

These tasks each focus on a different part of the additional science investigation (or the core science data analysis) and can be used as practices to get students used to the format. Each contains a mark scheme and some have parts that can be given as homework to train students in researching for these tasks!

An activity to learn how to use excel to draw detailed bar graphs (with all gridlines and labels etc) The sheets can be adapted to add instructions for scatter graphs etc
