First in a series of lessons that aim to teach KS3/4 students how to develop a website using RocketCake 5.
Completely reworked from my RocketCake 4 KS4 lessons - students now learn by creating a website with you, starting with a master page to promote consistency.
A good tool to help students in Creative iMedia R097 if their brief can be solved with a website as no coding is required.
Lesson includes teacher PowerPoint with videos guiding the process (and an all-new voice!); client brief (PDF); separate videos (MP4) for students to play on their own; student checklist; assets to help build the page quickly e.g. logo, text; teacher solution to tasks.
Students are presented with code with gaps and hints of how to complete it
They then enter the code (or the partially code is provided) and test it
There is a teacher presentation which takes them through each question so it is flexible how you use the resource.
