This is a 3 slide presentation that is a printable resource. Students are given a witch profile from slide 1, and the teacher walks around the class "killing them off" (making them sit down) using the answers and contextual information given on slides 2 and 3. It is highly engaged and received good feedback from the students.
This can be used for very low-ability pupils as well as higher-ability pupils, dependent on the amount of context given.
This was used in an English lesson about a non-fiction text written by an accused witch, to consolidate social historical context. However, it would also be perfect for a history lesson.
This PowerPoint has two Top Trump templates per slide. Each slide has Top Trump templates with different colours on.
I've used them for character analysis in English Literature before, but they can be used in many different subject areas - e.g. historical figures.
