This 14 slide PowerPoint explains the Easter story and how the disciples felt when they lost their friend, Jesus, as he went to heaven.
Children will talk about how it feels to lose a friend and what could happen. They will then learn about how the disciples lost Jesus as part of the Easter story.
Children will then have reflection time to think about what makes their friends special to them and what they have that could remind them of a friend if they went away.
There is also a prayer and notes at the bottom of the slide for a song recommendation.
