Booklet which looks at sentence structure and teaches students easy formulas to ensure they develop their answers well enough for the grade 5 lots of practise looking at infinitive constructions, tenses, development connectives. I use this format regularly with foundation students and higher students who struggle with writing structure - it always works really well. Also a very good format for intervention.

Lots of activities to help students understand grammar terminology, what conjugating is, and practise conjugating verbs into the present tense, increases in cognitive demand throughout the lesson - includes a creation task and 4 slides of 'recap' with different tasks to assess how well they have grasped the learning this could be used as a plenary or HW

Engaging lesson with 2 'games’ Developed for weaker students who struggle to embed 4 tenses into their work - but also useful for all foundation students to review key time expressions and practice comparing 2+ tenses format: 1- categorize time expressions 2 - practice time expressions (flying Spanish game - good for spelling) 3 - explain the 4 tenses are needed for the grade 5 4 - peer translation race game 5 - ‘smart revision’ task - to help students reflect on what their weak topics are/ direct revision

Developed in line with the AQA spec and resources in the textbook and on Kerboodle as my students have already completed many of the specimen materials. Topics are in order (1-12), for topics 1-8 each topic has 3 role plays each, for 9/10 there are 3 and for 11/12 there are 3. Each role play card follows the AQA style, there is a mix of registers (predominantly tú but some usted also) and situations, On each role play I have included a suggested question for the ! unexpected question but this could be deleted before giving to students.
