As most of the children have spent the summer term in home with their families, I’ve decided to create some rainbow bookmarks for their end of year gifts.

I’ve created a couple of ‘Meet the Teacher’ templates. They can be used on transition day or on your first day with children in September. It’s a great way for your children (and parents) to get to know you. Both resources are on Powerpoint.Both have: editable text boxes editable headings

During Lockdown, my pupils liked the 1st quiz we did (Guess the packet of Crisps) and they asked if I could do another one. So this time I choose some flags. There are a few flags from around the world and the children have to guess the country each flag belongs to.

I planned this quiz for a Zoom meeting that I had with my year 5 pupils but it can be used in the classroom too. The children have to guess the packet of crisps and I have provided the answer sheet too.

I made some book reviews in the shape of balloons to go up on my reading display. The reading display was all about ‘flying away with books’.

It’s a great resource for transition day when you meet your new class or it could be used on your first day with your pupils in September.

The children in my class love quizzes and they asked if i could do a Maths one. So here it is! The focus is place value.
