Full 9 lesson Forces SOW. Aimed at a mixed ability Y7 set. Worksheets marked STR or SUP are differentiated (stretch and support). All lessons planned in 6-part lesson format. Lesson 1 - Introduction to forces Lesson 2 - Squashing and stretching Lesson 3 + 4 - Hooke's Law investigation Lesson 5 - Drag and friction Lesson 6 - Forces at a distance Lesson 7 - Balanced and unbalanced Lesson 8 - F = ma Lesson 9 - Forces review Most resources my own though some resources may be adapted from other sources, including Activate and TES. 10 Resources
This is a series of 10 projects (all of which can be found individually in my shop) to cover all KS3 content before beginning GCSE. It is intended to take 1 term, with each project taking 4 to 6 lessons. This fits with schools wishing to start GCSE part way through Y9. The projects could also be used to consolidate or support throughout KS3 and GCSE depending of the needs of the groups.

Lesson 1 - Basic separating techniques Lesson 2 - Filtration (Third World Water Challenge) Lesson 3 - Solutions Lesson 4 - Solubility Lesson 5 - Distillation Lesson 6 - Chromatography (Who Shot Mr Burns) Lesson 7 - Separating mixtures assessment and review (Desert Island Challenge) Includes RAG document to use throughout and mini-assessment in the final lesson. Parts of resources taken from other lessons, some of which were found on TES.

This booklet fits the new AQA Combined and Separate Science Physics courses. This booklet is intended to be used as a flipped learning activity before the start of each topic, but can also be used as a independent revision booklet. See instructions on the front: Before the topic • Use your revision guide to answer the 10 comprehension questions covering the basics relating to that topic. • The aim is that you cover these beforehand so that we can spend lesson time on application of knowledge. • All information can be found on the revision guide pages that are referenced for each topic. After the topic • Look back over your original answers and add to them using purple pen. Extension Each topic will have an extension question that requires you to apply your knowledge of the basics. You can attempt this before or after the topic. The revision guide page references are for the Collins AQA guides.

A lesson aimed at new Y7 classes to familiarise them with a Bunsen burner. Includes a sequencing activity on how to turn on a Bunsen and a label the diagram activity. Ends with the students then following the sequence to safely turn, and alter the flame, to earn their Bunsen Burner license.
