This lessons starts with a graphical representation of waveforms for AC voltage, and shows how a resultant wave is formed from two sinusoidal waveforms. This is then extended to a graphical solution method, using vectors for phasors, and then a mathematical method using the cosine and sine rules to add two wave equations together.
