A lesson which looks at life in the trenches for soldiers during WW1. Students are given information about trench life including a diary entry and a poem. Students are asked to find different ‘pieces’ of a gothic story (for example: characters, setting, curses, colours, lighting, weather etc) - these will be stuck around the room before the lesson begins.
