I am a teacher, with 22 years teaching experience. I have been a middle leader for many years, including being a SENCO, in charge of work related learning/careers and Head of Department for Business Studies and PSHE. I currently work in a special needs secondary school, for students with moderate learning difficulties. I am also the parent of a 26 year old who has severe learning difficulties. I currently am the lead for PSHE/Life Skills working with special needs students from years 7 to 11 . I also teach entry level ICT. I am no longer interested in teaching Business Studies, and love working in the special needs sector. I am interested in any jobs that relate to special needs. I would also consider a role leading and/or teaching PSHE within mainstream, or a role within a main stream school that is SEN related. I also have an interest in Careers/work experience roles.
