Designed as an introduction to measurements in Science, this PowerPoint begins by familiarising students with length, the units and instruments used to measure it. There are some activities described such as measuring lengths of objects and how to measure the thickness of a piece of paper. This is designed for students in their first year (7) of post-primary education, but could also be used with those in the later stages of primary school.
