This resource is designed to help students understand and practice longitude and latitude by identifying and locating capital cities in the world. In addition to this students will gain an understanding of World Capital Cities, their location and why a country may change their capital. The resource includes a PowerPoint attachment which can be presented and a PDF with the required worksheets to be printed. This resource can be used across a range of key stages, dependent on ability and can be used as either guided/teacher led activity for Key Stages 1/2 or as an independent activity for Key Stage 3 Geography students.
