This is a resource to have up in your classroom to highlight good learning behaviours. I normally get the children to write in the boxes what they think each means. I have a character in the middle of these statements that can point to each one in turn (focus that lesson).

Practical way of teaching capacity. Needs three bottles of liquid labelled with pretend fuel on each table. Children measure out liquid to make rocket fuel to go to the moon. Normally accompanied with a story of going to outer space.

This a full self setting spelling homework program. The idea is to hit those common exception words and high frequency words for EYFS and KS1. Moreover it is designed to be creative!!! Children choose one fun activity to complete a week and tick the grid when they have completed. I mark them each week but they choose the words and there is no need to reset the homework over a half term. It hits the common exception words from the new curriculum so is up to date. I have included baseline tests and a set of simple copy and paste activities to go in the editable grid. Children really enjoying this at my school hope you do to!
