This is a full lesson on data transmission with all resources / activities. I use this for a double lesson of around 1 hour and 50 minutes and it provides a thorough understanding of simplex / duplex transmission and then goes on to look at serial / parallel transmission before finishing with odd and even parity bits and then parity blocks. This is lesson 2 of 2 and covers Partnerships and briefly introduces the concepts of Franchises and Joint Ventures (focus of a future lesson in detail) and allows more reflection and practice on Sole Traders and Limited Companies which was the focus of the first lesson which is available here . It also briefly introduces Joint Ventures and Franchises which are a key topic dealt with in full detail in a subsequent lesson. Learning objectives/Outcomes: Know what a Partnership is Know the difference between Public and Private Sector Organisations Know what Nationalisation and Privatisation are Understand the different types of Business Organisation in the Private Sector Understand Joint Ventures and Franchises This download includes: A starter A full lesson PowerPoint True or False Worksheet with answers to check understanding of the different types of businesses A town plan to analyse the types of business present which covers all the types of business structure on the curriculum All necessary resources to run the lesson are included in this download and all my lessons are for a double lesson i.e. to take around 1hour and fifty minutes so they can be separated into two single lessons if required. The aim of all my resources is to provide lessons / activities of good quality that will add value to your lessons / schemes of work without any extra planning. All activities and resources have been used in class and any errors will be fixed and resources updated as soon as I am aware of any errors. I have priced my resources at what I consider to be a reasonable cost based upon the amount of effort and work I have put into them but all comments and suggestions are very welcome and will be used to improve future resources.
