I am a science teacher in Liverpool and have been head of department and senior leadership. I have put resources on here that I know will be beneficial to both individual teachers and middle managers. I'm aware of the time constraints and the resources are to reduce workload as well as inform.

I have put together ‘mastery booklets’ that can be used for independent study for pupils to use after a section of the course has been covered. They are designed (with past paper questions and the answers) for the students to complete themselves. This is to help them gain a deeper knowledge without impacting on teacher workload. All the teacher needs to do is record when the students have completed and annotated the booklet.
I have split the 7 sections into the topics for the paper 1 and the paper 2. These could be used for cover work and revision before the exams.
Hope they’re useful.

I have split the 8 sections into the topics for the paper 1 and the paper 2 - the 8th booklet is just topics for students taking GCSE Physics. These could be used for cover work and revision before the exams.
Hope they’re useful, if they are please leave a positive review.

I have put together a complete system of resources that will allow staff to easily record and monitor the required practical aspect of the new GCSE science that is replacing the old ISA coursework.
The resources include Whole Class Practical Tracker, Pupil Cover Sheets for Each of the Practicals (8 required practical sheets) and an 'On-The-Day' Practical sheets (again one for each of the 8 Chemistry practicals), for the teacher to use in class during the practical to record the Apparatus and Technique (AT) skills that each pupil has to be competent with in Chemistry. This bundle covers the 8 required Chemistry practicals for the Combined Science and Chemistry GCSE's
All of the resources compliment each other, use the key coding for assessment to reduce workload and make things easy.
I have mirrored the A'Level AQA Practical Assessment for the AQA GCSE, it just seemed logical so that the systems are similar.
I have bundled these resources so that it is more cost efficient.
If you wish to see how the bundle works and see some screenshots then the instructions are a free download on my page.
Enjoy.
This is a free demo of the 29 quick quizzes I have compiled for the AS AQA new Biology course. Each quiz has 10 questions of varying difficulty and then the answers.
The paid version of the PowerPoint contains 29 quizzes spanning the whole AS course with questions and answers and an integrated results sheet to record the results from your class and a handy macro will rank them in order depending on their average through the quizzes. From the menu screen you can skip to any quiz and return back to the menu. Great for starters, plenaries and revision throughout the year.
This demo will give you an idea of the quality of what you will get.

Since the declaration that GCSE Science pupils wont be able to use equations sheets in future exams, I have been thinking of a system that will help them learn the equations and help staff in facilitating that learning. I have devised this. It is supposed to be used as a starter / plenary for pupils to go over and over and try to implant the equations over time. I will use it in every lesson, parrot fashion for success!
This is not board specific as they all will need to learn them, and can be used for the current legacy GCSE students too as a revision resource.
This PowerPoint has questions for the Electricity equations - on Units Questions, Resistance (R=V/I), Power (P=E/t), More Power (P=IV), Even More Power (P=I^2 R), and Electrical Energy (E=VQ). A demo of this which shows the Resistance questions is available for free in my store.
There is another demo and full PowerPoint on Energy Equations on my page. I have used the template for my ABCD cards for this endeavour, but you don't need those to utilise these PowerPoints.
Enjoy.

This resource contains 29 quick quizzes I have compiled for the AS AQA new Biology course. Each quiz has 10 questions of varying difficulty and then the answers. There is a linked excel sheet to record results and instructions as how to link the PowerPoint to the excel sheet (can be used without linking to the excel sheet as a stand alone resource too).

These are the PHYSICS Assessed/Required Practical student cover sheets that describe which AT (assessment techniques) that will be assessed for each practical.
The grading criteria is the one that is used in the official AQA Physics tracker and my own improved tracker that is based on the AQA tracker (you can download it free from my page).
The sheets are generic and in Word format so that you can amend or add your school crest on if needs be.

This is lesson 4 of a set of 10 lessons that cover 4.6.1 of the new GCSE AQA Biology curriculum. It follows the Oxford book chapter 13 in its chronology.
Each lesson has an interactive PowerPoint, a pupil worksheet(s) linked to the work in the PowerPoint and a linked past paper question with mark scheme. The PowerPoint has a starter that leads on from the previous lessons learning. The Student worksheet incorporates the learning in the lesson. The worksheets can be used to show progress and/or be cut up and stuck in books to avoid unnecessary diagram drawing etc. and use the time for deeper understanding.
The lessons can be bought individually or as a bundle for the lot.

This spreadsheet can be used to collate the ISA grades for Core, Additional, Biology, Chemistry and Physics ISA's. The sheet will calculate the grade achieved from the 2015 AQA grade boundaries. It will also do a count to show how many pupils have achieved A* - G in each piece.
There is enough space for 250 pupils in the core and additional and 150 for the triple science.
The grade the pupil gets will RAG change colour with regard to what their target is.
Enjoy and I hope it helps.
If you like have a look at some of the other spreadsheet resources I have in my shop.
I have taken the free AQA Assessed Practical tracker and have improved it.
I have added the AT (Assessed Techniques) definitions and added which AT's are assessed for each practical .
These marks for the AT's are collated in an overview sheet that shows how each student has performed in each assessed practical but also an overview of how they are doing for each AT.
I've tested it and it seems bug free...
