¿Qué hay en tu casa?
A starter exercise to the topic* ¿Qué hay en tu casa?* in which students look at the two images on the first page and place the correct vocabulary in the gaps. A box with vocabulary has been included for students to use.
This can be used for beginners or advanced Spanish language learners and should take around 5 minutes, depending on the level of students.
I have attached the answer sheet as part of the resources for the task.
If students have completed the task before the 5 minutes, a desafio can be for the students to write their own sentences or for them to translate the text. A translation of the text has been included within the answer sheet.
KS2 Literature Character Worksheet
A simple document for students to create their own Troofriend, inspired by the book. Although this is aimed at the book Troofriend, the document can be edited to suit any literature.
This can be done as a task after students have read Troofriend by Kirsty Applebaum. Encourages students to think about positive and negative qualities in a personal as well as, encouraging students to think about sports and hobbies.
Characteristics D&D Sheet
A D&D styled worksheet for students to learn characteristics and personality, in a fun and alternative way.
This could be a great way to practice the vocabulary and is one that I use for my students; they absolutely loved it as it’s a different take to revising.
Headings are in English - the document can be adapted to suit a number of MFL and English lessons.
Students could be asked to base their answers on themselves or on the topic of Family and Friends - I have had students feedback their responses once they have completed their answers, incorporating a mix of skills.
Students can work in pairs, roll dice to gain their stats and then compare their character to their partner’s character.
