My main occupations have followed a coaching and teaching path since my first job out of school (a nursery assistant :-) ). My main subject specialism is sport and physical activity but I have had responsibility for PSHE and other personal development based subjects across my career and within my current school. I currently work as a HLTA within a hospital school environment. My key area of delivery is sport and health education; teaching and mentoring to make a difference to the life chances of young people both within their education and outside of it is my main passion. As such, in 2017 I began co-creating a new personal development curriculum for the Oxfordshire Hospital School that uses the outdoor environment to enhance the learning opportunities of those with medical needs.
