This project is for foreign and non foreign students to research and explore their countries as they put a "passport" together" In the end, we are all happy citizens of one classroom. AS THIS PROJECT GOES, ASK STUDENTS: What are passports? What do passports say about us? What stories do they tell? The pros and cons of a proof of citizenship. Other EQs to expand upon: EQs: a) What is the process of becoming a country's citizen? b)What is a citizen? c) Is the process worth the outcome? d) What does citizenship mean to those who apply to be a part of a new culture?

Imagine yourself getting A Bad Case of Stripes! What caused it? What would you look like? This is a 3 page document with a rubric formulating that specific question. Students need to answer correctly following the rubric, and then they have to color themselves according to their answer. Response should occur first, picture after.

Farm animals in English and Spanish for FLES and ELL learners.

These are six full graphics of food groups, which can be vegan friendly as they are divided by nutrient, rather than by source of food: I.E, Protein, instead of "meat" and "calcium" instead of "cheese". Alternative to all student eating lifestyles, including Paleo, Vegetarian, Vegan Carnivore.

This "board game" actually tests the students knowledge of survival Spanish and English questions and statements. Use it as a pre-post assessment, or just have fun with it. Divide them in pairs, or three's and watch them have fun and leave you be.

Kids have to create a soup can, use software to draw soup, come up with the recipe and write complete sentences.

This was done on Wixie and the kids can easily do their very own by just using the presentation as their model. This will increase their DOK from 1 to 4 easily. It also has an activity on back.

List businesses connected to boom towns ELL: Ell's will be able to discern the traits of boom towns and identify jobs related to boom towns. Also, the definition to typically hard words will be explained to them: cooper, miller, blacksmith, tanner. History: Connections between old jobs and last names.
