They get limited time to fill out each category until the first person finishes- then everyone has to compare their answers. Great way to see how they think!

Infographic and activity to recognize meat and wheat products in Spanish

In this work, based out of the David Shannon book, ELL students and regular ELA students can discover root words and their meanings--as they are taken out of the text. Text to text connections.

Two sheets One is for students to write down a word that represents the part of speech indicated in the square, depending on what number they get after tossing a die. The other one is for commonly misspelled words, which they will re-write over and over as they throw the dice.

Here the students put together an "altar" in honor of someone who has passed away, pets included. Also, they have two extra sheets to decorate their sugar skulls and label them in Spanish

Imagine yourself getting A Bad Case of Stripes! What caused it? What would you look like? This is a 3 page document with a rubric formulating that specific question. Students need to answer correctly following the rubric, and then they have to color themselves according to their answer. Response should occur first, picture after.
