Counting with tens frame

(1)
Simple activity through which learners practice counting and one to one correspondance by selecting a number and creating it on the tens frame. Tens frames are a versatile and essential tool for children to grasp how to count fluently and recall number facts to 10. Performing calculations with a tens frame by physically adding or taking away counters can also help young learners to grasp basic operations. They can be used for more complex topics such as fractions, place value, and percentages.
