Learners will look at the main features of a letter of complaint. They will then write their own letter from Headteacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge, to Mr and Mrs Weasley using the information provided.

Suitable for pupils in year 5&6, this resource includes a high quality model newspaper report. It describes the death defying World Trade Center tightrope walk performed by Frenchman Philippe Petit in 1974 (as recently portrayed in the 2015 film - The Walk). Also included is a teaching presentation to assist in the writing of an effective newspaper report introduction and a two page blank newspaper template. You will also find a success criteria sample (WMG) attached with an open source You Tube video clip.
