This resource is a wall display of synonyms that children frequently use. To make the display more interesting, I created some flowers to display the synonyms so it is more visually engaging.
I have left a couple of empty flowers for you to create you own aswell!!
This template can be used to display a word of the week. I have also included a space for: the definition, synonyms, antonyms, and the word being used in a sentence.
This resources is easily adaptable to suit the needs of the children in your classroom or wherever this resource may be used.
I have made a power point of fun and engaging starter activities. They are all editable to suit whatever subject or topic you are teaching. I’m sure that there will be something that will be suitable for all primary age groups.
Here is a visual timetable that can help children know what the day ahead looks like. You can add more lessons or change them if you like, I think I have included the majority of lessons/ activities.
This would be perfect to support children with SEN who find comfort in things that are planned out and displayed with pictures, so they can understand.
This classroom resources allows children to showcase their work and share it with their parents.
If a child has completed a piece of work that they are very proud of, they can peg their work and the teacher will take a picture to share with their parents.
For this resource, i have created a description sheet and a range of different coloured mini cameras to stick to wooden clothes pegs. I have also also included an example of what this resource would look like as created by @miss_vangelder (on twitter).
Hope this is useful :)
Great resource for questioning in different environments. I have made three different designs but they are editable.
Inspired by @yesmissdaniel on instagram and twitter
Use these cards to stick on to a meter stick in the order, for the time stables you are learning. As they begin to get more confident, randomly take one off at a time, until they can memorize the times tables without the cards.
This resource is a series of sheets for times tables up to 12. The purpose of this resource is to provide children with wooden pegs, with the answers to the chosen times tables written on them.
Their challenge is to match up the questions to the answers by pegging the answers in the right place.
This resource has been adapted from @missbligh_y3
This resource is to promote a more independent learning environment. It includes 5 B’s where children have to work through them before they ask the teacher for support.
Brain - using their brain to think of the answer
Board - can they see the answer on the board?
Book - can they find the answer in their book?
Buddy - can the person sat next to them help them?
Boss - if none of the other B’s can help them, they can ask the teacher for support.
I found this amazing idea created by @missstephensy4 (twitter) and created my own to use in the classroom in the future.
