Christmas Menu Maths (money, decimals)

(0)
An excellent way to bring some festive cheer to your Maths lessons with a visit to the Christmas Cafe. Children study the menus (differentiated 3 ways - prices in pence up to 20, prices in pence up to £1, prices in £ using decimals); they then proceed to answer questions on the task cards; alternatively, a teacher can set a budget for the children to spend in the cafe or use fake money and role play. The choice is yours. Great for practising the four basic operations, place value and decimals. Included in the resource: 3 differentiated menus, 24 task cards. If you have a suggestion or spotted a mistake, please do not hesitate to contact me on the email address provided on the last page of the resource.
