Model text of 251 words based on George’s Marvellous Medicine with a character focus (mean grandma).
Story also presented on ppt/google slides with pictures.
Can be used as a model text example to work on character description and/or instructions for making a potion. Then as a format for writing a whole short story.

A written version of The Papaya That Spoke for use as a Talk 4 Writing model text in Key Stage 1. Emphasis on dialogue - speech verbs, punctuation, new speaker new line. Text includes ‘power of 3’ adjectives and similes.

A collection of 19 myths and legends from around the world. These are around 250 words each in length. They were created for Year 3 to learn and retell for an oral storytelling lesson. They could be used for many purposes in Years 1 to 6.
A set of 40 words including phonetically decodable Alien words and real words to prepare children for the phonics screening check or to find phonics gaps for any age.
Made on google slides, downloaded as a pdf. For use on IWB or an iPad.

A model text for a persuasive writing unit based on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The text is approximately 200 words and includes writing tools such as:
Present tense
Adjectives for impact - superlatives
Connecting words (linking words) e.g. first, you could, also, finally
A question
Also included here is a picture story map to help learn and retell the model text, plus a visual slide show of the text with images.
You can innovate using other famous buildings, sites or locations.
