GCSE Physics - 11 Static Electricity

(1)
A free sample of the worksheet packs that are coming soon. These worksheets are designed to cover the Static Electricity topic from the GCSE (9-1) Physics course offered by Pearson (Edexcel 1PH0), but they could be used to support the learning from other examination boards. In this sample there are 3 worksheets in PDF format with 3 answer sheets. This means the resource could be used for distance or self assessment learning as well as in school or as homework sheets. Paid for worksheet packs are going to be joining this one soon, with typically 10 or so worksheets per pack.

GCSE Physics Worksheets - Forces, Motion and Energy

(9)
This pack of materials consists of nine worksheets and fully worked out answers. Resultant Forces Forces and Motion: Distance Time Graphs Forces and Motion: Velocity Time Graphs Forces and Braking Forces and Terminal Velocity Forces and Elasticity Forces and Energy: Potential Energy Forces and Energy: Kinetic Energy Momentum They have been designed to match the needs of the AQA Physics GCSE syllabus for the first half of module P2, but could be used with any GCSE Physics syllabus or appropriate unit from GCSE Double Science. They are suitable for use in class or as homework. They cover the areas of forces, motion and energy. Each worksheet contains the relevant equation/s to complete the work, so that students should find the tasks accessible. The focus for calculation questions is on the process of getting to the answer rather than the answer itself. (Many answer guides or mark schemes simply quote the correct answer without the details to help a struggling student see how it was achieved). My aim is to produce five more units of similar materials to complete the Physics GCSE. I would appreciate any feedback, errors or omissions to help me with this work going forward.

Firework Craft Activity Instructions (KS1)

(1)
Instructions to make a paper firework, designed to be read by pupils who have learned phase 5 phonics (two trickier words - fireworks and carefully can be derived from context). Ideal as an independent reading comprehension activity with real learning value. Good example of the text type of instructions containing sequencing words etc. Contains a presentation and a worksheet with sound buttons to encourage children to use their phonic knowledge. Also a version without the sound buttons. Additional note: The powerpoints are now updated with the child friendly font embedded. This should solve any alignment issues.
