An introductory unit to Dance. Seven lesson PowerPoint resource. Resource guides the learning from a set warm up and movement phrase to using basic choreographic skills to develop the movement phrase into their own dance in preparation for a performance at the end of the topic. Key terminology is used throughout the unit and the success criteria is linked to each lesson through learning objectives and evidence checklist to meet the objectives.

A six week remote learning scheme of work which introduces year 9 learners to the AQA GCSE Drama course however it could be adapted for other examination boards easily. The first two weeks looks at Theatre roles and responsibilities and the next four weeks introduces learners to Blood Brothers and some key concepts relevant to the text.

A seven lesson PowerPoint resource exploring Brazilian Dance through A Linha Curva. Each lesson builds on the lesson before developing basic choreographic skills through chosen repertoire from A Linha Curva. The scheme allows students to learn movement from A Linha Curva and then experiment with formations, relationships and choreographic devices to increase their knowledge of key terminology. The success criteria is included in the PowerPoint and a scheme of work and marking grid are also available in my shop.
