Children find out how Viking influence spread through different parts of the world and how, over a period of years, the Vikings eventually settled in Britain. About this unit: This unit explores ways in which different people mark special occasions in the life of their families and communities, particularly: • birthdays • harvest • Bonfire Night • Guru Nanak’s birthday • Hanukkah • the Nativity.
