Associate leader in a large comprehensive secondary school with experience in leading a wide range of subject areas including ICT, Computing, Design Technology and Humanities. Winner of three national awards for the use of ICT within education, including the BECTA Award for ICT and the ALT 'Learning Technologist of the Year'. Experience of supporting secondary teachers across the curriculum through development of educational resources, notably through major role in development of the website 'what2learn'. Governor at a primary special school supporting EBD children. Author of a guide published to assist teachers cope with the switch from ICT to Computing. Father of two primary-age children (one with ASD) who are also often the recipients (/victims) of my learning creations.
