This test relates to the first half term on the SOW. 40 mark assessment comprising of multiple choice to medium length answer and comes with mark scheme.
This resource is a group presentation activity based around consolidating knowledge of muscle contractions and joint movements.

This resource is discussing how muscles contract and the pairs they work in. Embedded videos are replaced with links. Resources added are a differentiated sheet explaining the process and a worksheet for a theory-practical lesson if you would like to change learning styles
This lesson introduces muscle types and major muscle names including new names updated for the new specification. Stater recap test of joints and various activities including differentiated work sheet for muscle types.
This ALL IN ONE document allows you to combine assessments and practical marks to create an overall grade based upon a % score of the total marks available, as there are currently no grade boundaries until the first exam series is completed in 2018. Grade boundaries have been taken from the current spec and raised slightly to increase confidence of grades awarded. Teachers can also log assessment and practical grades on separate tabs

To calculate the assessment section
- Complete a 40 mark test
- Multiply the score by 1.95 (to make a score out of 78 - official test paper mark)
- Multiply by 2 - to account for two exam papers of 78 marks.
