The resources that I am selling are only ever those that have taken me a significant amount of time to create myself, all of which I use with my own classes.
I specialise in creating extended writing tasks, A3 lesson maps and revision booklets as I feel these are the most beneficial in helping my students make progress.

These resources could be used over a single lesson with high ability or over two lessons if your group are of lower ability. The resource covers health issues based on the new AQA Trilogy Specification.
Topics include: health, non-communicable disease, causal mechanisms, effects of smoking, effects of alcohol, effects of poor diet and exercise.
The two slide PowerPoint contains a starter, objective and graded success criteria . The structured A3 lesson map is to be used by the students during the lesson to aid note taking.
The lesson title, objective and success criteria are incorporated to structure the worksheet with a box to complete for each criteria.
I have planned the first as a research lesson where students will research the risk factors associated with smoking, exercise, diet and alcohol.
The second will focus on the wider impact of non-communicable diseases on society.
I planned this lesson around the 'AQA Biology for GCSE combined Science: Trilogy' book.
Please feel free to leave your honest opinion so that I can make any necessary improvements!

Use the game board and question cards to revise biology topics including:
Drugs, diet, exercise, cells, tissues, organs, organ systems, digestion, respiration, photosynthesis.
This game was a hit with my high ability year 7/8 students.
Students start on the start here circle and collect a question card.
The difficulty of the question they choose to answer determines how many spaces forward they take.
Landing on a lifestyle card (wine glass) will have a positive or negative impact on their progress across the board.
Slide 2 gives an example of the types of questions included.
Topics include: sexual reproduction, asexual reproduction, mitosis, meiosis, fertilisation, twins.
Complete Extended Writing Activity including a scaffolded sheet for lower ability students and a mark scheme.

This lesson focuses on how energy can be transferred between stores when a system changes. This is based on the new AQA Trilogy specification.
Lesson includes:
Powerpoint with lesson objective, success criteria and accompanying tasks.
The energy systems expert information contains visual, worked examples of how energy is transferred from store to store.
I allocated one person on each table to become an expert. Each student has a prop to match their information sheet (microwave, wind up toy, tennis ball, book, elastic band, pendulum, bunsen burner, battery powered torch). Their role is to teach each group that circulates to them how energy is transferred in their particular example and to get them to draw an energy transfer diagram.
The energy transfer experts sheet is to be printed A3 and completed by the students visiting each expert. The table contains a section to record notes, draw an energy transfer diagram and give feedback to their expert.
I followed the activity up with a short quiz to assess learning and gave a prize to the highest rated teacher.
This activity worked extremely well with my high ability year 8 class.
