I made the original worksheet about 3 years ago and staff keep on requesting copies of it. It's a very simple sheet to explain how to design a good quality PowerPoint Slide. I've added a PowerPoint presentation with the answers and a simplified lesson plan. I hope its helpful and please adapt as you wish.

This lesson shows students how to do effective slide builds for presentations. This is an important skill when presenting slide shows to slowly reveal information and keep the audience interested. This could also be used in English as part of their Speaking tasks.

This Word table introduces students to Open Source software and asks why schools are still prepared to pay for commercial software? It is useful for familiarising students and teachers to software types, what is available for free and what benefits a school gets from commercial software.

This is a complete Web Design module that can be used in Keystage 3 or as a refresher in Keystage 4. It uses the free software, Kompozer which is a WYSIWYG designer but enables you to see the code at a glance. In the module students design a Web Safety site, helping them to understand how to use the web safely. There are links to the software, the sample site and the planning lesson. This is a very simple multiple choice that either allows you to quickly make your own multiple choice quizzes for students to do or for students to develop their own quizzes. It's deliberately plain so that people can add their own designs and unlike most PowerPoint quiz templates this one allows you to choose any answer as the correct one. (This prevents students from simply learning the order of the quiz) It was developed to help prepare students for their Edexcel GCSE coursework and is one of the resources my colleagues keep on asking for...
