Danny the Champion of the World Story
A resource that I use to read Danny the Champion of the World to a class. I read the book while using my clicker which shows the illustrations.
We read a story to the children at the end of each day.
In the first session we learn a little bit about the author. At the beginning of every reading sessions we unpick some of the words/phrases so that the children know what these words mean.
I set the children a challenge to listen out for these words/phrases and they raise their hand when they hear them.
