I am currently a Senior Manager at the foremost academic Sixth Form College in Hartlepool. Throughout my career at the College I have been promoted from English and Media Studies tutor through to Director of Faculty and Quality Manager. I can teach English, A level Media and Film Studies and have taught A level Communication & Culture when it was part of the College provision. I am currently part of the College lesson observation team and have observed colleagues for ten years. I have recently worked very closely with Education Consultants and Ofsted Inspectors as part of the ongoing significant improvements to the College. I am proactive in recording and utilising assessment data to inform and improve student progress. A recent redundancy announcement has given me the opportunity to return to full-time teaching, the activity I most enjoy. I have a great passion for English and its correct use. I am Safeguarding and Prevent trained.
