his is a digital escape room, designed to challenge a class to think critically and piece together clues and information in order to solve a puzzle. The way the game works is that players click their way around the virtual room, discovering links to web pages, slides with clues on and ‘locks’ (Google forms that require a specific code). This document provides the link to share with students as well as a link for teachers to see the overview, and a step by step solution to enable you to give hints to students. All they need is a device in order to complete it on, that has access to the internet and perhaps some headphones, as there is an audio clue.

Designed for GCSE Y10, studying Edexcel Biology 9-1 but compatible with other exam boards too - from my experience I think it would work well with AQA (including Trilogy) too. The file contains a colourful version for sharing and completing digitally as well as a black and white version for printing. It consists of a two-sided A4 page, that has taken my classes normally an hours lesson, plus homework to complete. I hope it’s helpful to you.
