Irregular French Verbs Conjugation Practice Charts - Present Tense This set of present tense conjugation practice charts is for practicing irregular French verbs, and three versions are included covering 30 verbs (see list below). Check out the preview to see exactly what you get with this French conjugation resource. Students practice conjugating each of the 30 irregular French verbs provided in the present tense. There is a space where they have to write what the verb means in English. The translations are omitted so that students will retain their meanings better by looking up the French verbs they don’t know and writing them on the charts. Each page has plenty of space for writing. There are 5 pages with charts for 4 French verbs and space for taking notes, 3 pages with charts for 8 verbs leaving out space for notes, and one page with all 20 verbs listed and ready to be conjugated. The last page is perfect for self testing and checking progress. Use these practice pages, cards and worksheets to teach and review present tense conjugations of irregular French verbs to beginners or to review with all levels at any time. Your students will stay fully engaged when learning 50 irregular French verbs in the present tense with over 200 pages of speaking, reading, writing, and listening pages that require absolutely no prep for you. This packet is designed to help you stay organised: When you’re teaching so many verbs, it’s a relief to know that it will be easy to stay organized. You won’t wast any time looking for the verbs you want because they are all numbered. Let’s say you’re working on the verb “lire”. “Lire” is #9 on the list, so just pull out all of the #9 worksheets and discussion card #9 and you’re all set! Conjugation charts and worksheets - 26 pages Thirteen pages have four verbs each and space for taking notes and writing examples. Seven pages have eight verbs each. Students write the meaning of each verb in English. Three conjugation pages are formatted for quick written or spoken auto-évaluations. Pages with conjugations are included so that students can check their written work, or a friend can follow along while listening. Students can keep track of their progress on the last page. You may suggest trading papers with a partner. Sentence writing worksheets - 50 pages There are 50 one-page sentence writing activities. Self-evaluation charts are included. Paragraph writing worksheets - 50 pages 50 pages are for writing paragraphs. The prompts are the same as those on the speaking cards for conversations. Speaking cards for discussions using the verbs - 50 cards There are four cards per page for you to print and cut out. Students can work with partners or in small groups to practice speaking. Où allez-vous le plus souvent en voiture? Crossword puzzles - 5 pages There are 5 mots-croisé activities to make sure students know what the verbs mean. Clues are infinitive written in English. Fill in the crossword puzzle with French infinitives. Sudoku puzzles - 50 pages Sudoku puzzles are for conjugation practice. There are individual puzzles for all of the verbs except “falloir” and “pleuvoir” as they are only conjugated in the IL form. Two versions are included for alternate conjugations of the verb “s’asseoir” so you can choose the one you like to use and teach!

Are you looking for engaging ways to teach French clothing vocabulary? This French vocabulary packet will have your students reading, writing, listening and speaking! 15 different activities including games, writing, and speaking activities are included. 22 pages of worksheets and 48 speaking prompt cards are included. 48 words are included in this French clothing vocabulary packet. 4 pages are dedicated to identifying words students know and don’t know, and deciding which clothes and accessories they like and don’t like. On the first page, all of the words are listed. Students check off the words on the list that they recognize. On the second page, students identify the words they don’t know and translate them. On the third page, students check off things and activities that they like. On the fourth page, students check off things and activities that they don’t like. 14 games are included for maximum exposure to all 48 words on the list. Two all French Dots & Boxes games are included. Each player draws lines using a different color while speaking the words on either side of the lines they draw. Two Dots & Boxes games in English to be used for translating to French. Two Tic-Tac-Toe worksheets to encourage mastering all 48 words on the list. Choose a square, read the word aloud, write an X or an O on the square. Two Ceci ou Cela games are included in this vocabulary packet. Each numbered row offers three choices. Students read the three choices aloud and say the one that they prefer. At the bottom of the page it says “Je préfère __ parce que…” Six Bataille Navale games will have your students speaking in complete sentences in French using the target vocabulary with “J’aime” or “Je n’aime pas” as starters. This is an excellent way to prep for the upcoming writing and speaking activities! 4 writing activities following the “J’aime” or “Je n’aime pas” theme, and 48 speaking prompt cards are included. One writing worksheet asks students to choose five things they like and to write two reasons why they like them. “PARCE QUE” and “CAR” are both used in each sentence so that students will get used to the idea that they are interchangeable. One writing worksheet asks students to choose five things they don’t like and to write two reasons why they don’t like them. One paragraph writing worksheet asks students to identify four things they don’t like and to write a full paragraph about why they don’t like them. A self-evaluation checklist is included at the bottom of the page to make sure students include adjectives, adverbs, and articles. The second paragraph writing worksheet asks students to identify four things they do like and to write a paragraph about why they like them. Each of the 48 speaking prompt cards includes a different word from the list of target vocabulary in this packet. There are four cards on each page.

Present tense French IR Verbs - Primary French conjugation chains - Cut and paste This literacy center or independent work activity for primary core French or primary French immersion is a fun, hands-on way for your students to practice conjugating 22 different regular French IR verbs (listed below) in the present tense. Each verb page has ten strips to cut out. The first one is for the student’s name, and the following nine strips are for conjugating JE - TU - IL - ELLE - ON - NOUS - VOUS - ILS - ELLES. Students begin by filling in the blanks to add the correct present tense endings. The number of letters needed for the endings is indicated by the number of blanks provided to help students while learning or reviewing conjugations. Next, they cut out the strips and paste them together forming conjugation chains. They’ll love hanging them up around the classroom! Conjugate Vouloir - Futur Simple French Conjugation Board Game This French board game for conjugating vouloir in the futur simple includes 37 numbered boxes. The first player to reach box 37 wins. There are a few tricks along the way, so getting to the end isn’t always so easy! Some boxes require students to conjugate the verb using the provided subject pronoun, and others require them to name the subject pronoun that matches the verb conjugation. Lots of repetition will really help them to memorize this very important verb! In groups of two to four, players take turns rolling a die to move their pieces forward. Spaces are numbered to keep track of which way they’re moving. There are some spaces with special instructions: Départ - Start Avance de 5 cases - Move forward 5 spaces Recule de 5 cases - Move backward 5 spaces Rejoue - Play again Tu perds ton tour - Lose a turn Fin - End For an extra challenge and to extend playing time, you can tell your students that they have to land directly on the last square and answer it correctly to win.
