Oracy sentence starters / scaffolded talking

(1)
Sentence starters to help students of all KS to ask a question about the lesson topic and express an opinion on what they have learnt. Good to start a class, group or peer discussion. Could also be used for written work. Print off as a double sided card to keep in your resource ‘toolbox’ Great to use during lessons or as a plenary.

I added an additional tasks and extensions so that this could be used as a term project for Year 11 during school closures. There are four tasks: - hand sketch technical drawing, CAD, problem solving design task, exploring designers and analysis It is a word document so that you can edit. Feedback welcome. Thank you. Design and Technology GCSE ALevel Iterative design. Student 'next step' cards for OCR coursework

(2)
Help cards to support students with their ‘next step’ in the iterative design cycle. Use as a starter, lesson focus or to encourage independent learning. Each card has two focused questions and 3 differentiated options for next step activity/task. All cards are based on OCRs NEA assessment. Students have been really responsive to using these. Any feedback or ideas please share.
